Walk through the Navile nature preserve~

Flowers carpeting the ground with cherry (we're pretty sure) blossoms in the background. Larry lay on his stomach to take this one above.

Here are some pictures from our walk this morning. There's a park along the canal right near where we live. The canal, which runs underneath the old city, emerges in the open right near our apartment. It runs north until eventually it runs into the Po River.

In the park, a sculpture of ant donated by a craft (artisans) council. It is made of bronze.

Perhaps a dogwood tree.

Cherry trees by the canal

The last day for the forsythia, I think

This rounded apartment building is just on the other side of the canal. It was built by the Ansaloni Co-operative (which is a co-op that builds private residences) -- nice place to live, with a view , eh.

Industrial relations specialist masquerading as a pomologist (look it up).

Have no dictionary here in the Boston hotel lobby, but if a pomologist studies the use of high heel shoes he would fit in well here. Check out shelaghsphd.blogpost.com
